These answers are short on purpose. Each links to the page with more detail. The headline: plans follow Trades.Agency pricing from $1,999/month, there's no long-term contract, you own everything, and we usually reply within one business day during our hours of Mon–Fri 9–6 Pacific.
Frequently asked questions
How much does support cost?
Plans follow Trades.Agency pricing: Growth $1,999/month, Elite $3,999/month and Enterprise $7,999/month month to month, or $1,499, $2,999 and $5,999 a month on annual billing, and support clients add GST/HST by province (GST and QST in Quebec).
Is there a contract?
No long-term contract. You can stop any month by giving 30 days' notice. Annual billing costs less per month and is entirely optional.
How quickly do you respond?
We work Mon–Fri 9–6 Pacific, and a reply normally reaches you within one business day. We don't offer round-the-clock coverage, and we won't pretend to.
My site is broken right now. Can you help?
Call or text with what you see and, if possible, a screenshot. We'll start with a diagnosis so you know the cause before you decide on a repair.
We tried an agency before and it went badly. Why would this be different?
Fair question. We put every account in your name, give you a written register of logins and a change log, and work month to month. If we don't earn your trust, you can leave with everything you own intact.
Who owns the website and accounts?
You do. Your domain, hosting, Google Business Profile, ad accounts and analytics should all be registered to your business. If any aren't, fixing that is usually our first job.
Do you only support sites you built?
No. Most of the sites we support were built by someone else. We review what you have first and tell you honestly whether it's worth maintaining or better replaced.
How long does it take to get started?
After the free consultation, the first month is setup: an inventory of your accounts, a full backup, any catch-up updates and quick security fixes. Routine support runs from then on.
What reports will I get?
A short monthly note in plain language: what was updated and fixed, backup and renewal status, anything that needs your decision, and marketing numbers such as calls and reviews where we track them.
Can you promise more leads?
No. Support protects what you have and removes leaks, which often helps, but nobody can honestly promise a number. We report results so you can judge for yourself.
Do you do any trade work?
None. We don't install, repair or service anything. We support the website, listings and marketing accounts of trades businesses.
What do you need from us to start?
Your website address, any logins you have, the names of past providers, and a list of what's bothering you. Don't worry if you have no logins at all; that's common.
Price and contracts
Our plans and terms are the Trades.Agency family's: Growth, Elite and Enterprise, month to month or cheaper on annual billing, with 30 days' notice to cancel and GST/HST added for your province. One-off repairs are scoped and priced in writing after a free diagnosis, before any work starts.
The pricing page has the full table and a worked example of what downtime can cost a trades business compared with the cost of support.
Timelines and response
We work Mon–Fri 9–6 Pacific and usually reply within one business day. That's an honest description of a senior team's capacity, not a service-level agreement with penalty clauses.
If you're facing an outage outside those hours, the emergency triage guide walks you through the checks most likely to reveal the cause: domain renewal, hosting status and DNS. Many outages can be identified, and some resolved, by the owner in fifteen minutes with that list.
Ownership and past agencies
Ownership is the topic we care most about. If someone else holds your domain or Google Business Profile, you're exposed, however good your relationship with them is today.
Many owners who call us have been let down before: logins never handed over, ad accounts held hostage, or a website that went offline when the agency stopped paying for hosting. Our answer is structural rather than a promise. Everything goes into your name, you get a written register, and the plan is month to month. Our access recovery service covers how we get accounts back. For a deeper rescue, Trade.Repair, our sister site, covers that process in detail.
Results and reporting
We report in plain language every month. Where you have call tracking and analytics, the report includes calls by source, reviews and anything unusual. Where you don't, we'll recommend a simple setup.
Our published case studies are results from our HVAC work. We don't claim them for other trades, and we don't promise you the same numbers.
Working with us day to day
Day-to-day support runs on a simple rhythm. You send requests by text or email whenever they come up, we confirm we've received them, and we tell you when each one is done. Larger jobs get a short written scope first, so you know what's happening and what it will cost.
Owners often ask what they need to do on their side. Very little, once setup is finished:
- Tell us when something in the business changes: a new service, a price change, a new phone system, a staff member leaving.
- Forward any renewal, billing or security notices you aren't sure about, rather than clicking links in them.
- Send photos from recent jobs if you'd like them on the website or your Google listing.
- Reply when we ask for a decision, such as whether to approve a plugin update that changes how a page looks.
What we won't do
Being clear about limits saves everyone time.
- We won't register your domain, hosting or listings in our own name.
- We won't post fake reviews, offer customers rewards for reviews, or stuff your business name with keywords on Google.
- We won't advise on permits, codes, licensing or compliance. We link the regulator and leave those questions to you and them.
- We won't promise rankings, lead numbers or instant response times.
- We won't touch anything at a job site. Our work is entirely online.
If a request falls into one of those areas, we'll say so plainly and, where we can, point you to the right kind of help.
Still have a question?
Call, text or email. Ask it the way you'd ask a tradesperson about a job: plainly. You'll get a plain answer, and if we're not the right fit, we'll say so. Start on the contact page, or read about us first.
